The Directed Studies program at Yale University is a selective program for first year students that studies Western Civilization in an interdisciplinary manner. The Directed Studies Timeline is an interactive timeline tool that helps professors and students visualize the history they are studying. Professors can customize the information they want the timeline to display for their courses.
The timeline is currently built in Flash with a custom backend. Future development will utilize WordPress to manage the timeline’s data.
